General
No anglers are allowed to arrive before 13:00 on the day of arrival. There is a walk around the lake with the bailiff at 13:30. This is to help you get the most out of your stay with us.
Unfortunately, no waiting for late arrivals
The draw for swims takes place at 14:30. Any anglers who arrive late and miss the draw will be able to choose from the remaining swims.
Oak Lake – access is available around the lake for unloading and loading only. Vehicles must then be returned to the car park.
Willow Lake – access is available around the lake for your vehicle and you can leave your vehicle behind the swim.
Departure is no later than 10:00 on the day of departure.
Breakfast is served at 9:00 on the day of departure. Please ensure you have packed and cleared your swim by this time.

Waste and Glass

Due to several incidents we have decided that anglers must now take all waste and glass home with them. Thank you and we hope you understand.

Tackle
Maximum of 3 rods. When 6 anglers fish a lake exclusively – maximum of 2 rods.
Carp care kit must be used on all fish returned to the lake.
No holding fish
Rods must be attended at all times, NO EXCEPTIONS.
No leadcore or leaders, rig tubing only.
No fixed leads.
MCF Dumper Lead Clips, Korda Heli Safe with removed pin & Drop off inline systems only. No other lead clips allowed. We stock the MCF clips – for more info see here
Micro barbs only, no long shank or curved hooks such as patterns such as NAILERS, MUGGA and FOX SERIES 5 or similar patterns. If you are unsure about a particular hook pattern please contact us before you arrive.
Rig checks can and will be carried out. Please do not be offended. Safety of our carp is our top priority!
Minimum 20lb breaking strain main line. Line must be checked on arrival.
No braided line as main line (but can be used on marker and spod rods).
Bait is permitted.
At Lac De Missy we provide all anglers with unhooking mats, weigh slings and landing nets for use on the lake to prevent cross contamination. There are large carp in the lake and their safety is our top priority.
Bait
No shelf life boilies, freezer baits only. Each angler is allowed to take a maximum of 20kg of bait.
No ‘Goo’ type products are to be used (anyone using these will be asked to leave immediately)
No nuts or fake (plastic) hookbaits are to be used.
Particles and pellets – only those sold on the lake are permitted. Please do not bring your own bait as you are not allowed to use it. This is to ensure that only low oil pellets and properly prepared particles are used for the safety of our carp.
Furthermore
Only paying guests are allowed on the complex.
The angler is responsible for any damage.
The owners cannot be held liable for any loss or theft during your stay.
No refunds will be given for early departures.
You will be asked to leave if you are behaving inappropriately of any kind.
No swimming in the lake.
No open fires are allowed.
Any anglers under the age of 16 are welcome to fish but all must be accompanied by a competent adult angler fishing in the same swim.
Alcohol is permitted in moderation but anyone who has consumed excessive amounts of alcohol will be asked to reel in their lines. This is for the welfare of the fish and your own safety.
No drugs of any kind are allowed on the site. Unhooking and handling fish
Fish must be unhooked, weighed and photographed in the lake
Fish must not be taken out of the lake and brought to shore at any time
Make sure you have waders/waders to unhook fish in the water.
