This brand new complex was excavated in 2007 and is located close to Vitry le Francois in the Champagne region and is therefore easily accessible from Calais. Pegasus Lakes consists of two beautiful lakes of a fantastic size. One lake is 30 acres and the other 32 acres.The lakes both offer everything the modern carp angler needs and you will not encounter any catfish, poisson chat or crayfish. At the moment, the very sympathetic owner, Pete Burke, has build perfect facilities (lodge, toilets, showers) and the Lake 2 will be has opened for public in 2022.The lakes are currently best described as runs waters with a chance of a 50lb+ fish.<\/p>\n

You must take all your garbage with you when you leave. (We unfortunately had to implement this rule because there are still people who refuse to sort their garbage properly. The owner risks high fines!)Respect the location

\nRespect each other
\nWeighslings and cradles are provided
\nBring your own landing net.
\nDo not leave fishing rods unattended
\nMaximum of 4 rods per person
\nNo braided main line
\nLeadcore is prohibited
\nLeaders, such as Korda’s, are allowed.
\nNo plastic baits
\nOnly micro barb hooks
\nBait boats are allowed
\nRowing boats only to bait up, but not to place rigs.
\nA life jacket MUST always be worn when using a boat.
\nKeeping bags are prohibited
\nUse of the toilet is mandatory.
\nNo open fires or barbecues
\nLeave trees or shrubs alone
\nYou have to take your rubbish & glass with you at the end of the week.
\nDogs are allowed, but you are responsible for cleaning up their faeces
\nDo not move fish between more 1 and 2<\/p>\n
